CEL engine management light-new exhaust
Since fitting a new exhaust without lamda sensors my engine managemant light keeps coming one. No suprise realy, but I've heard you can buy a imitation lamda sensor to plug onto the loom in its place.
Anyone else hear of this? Know what I need, and where to get them?

I guess you havn't ditched the Lambda sensor but the 02 sensor which checks for the presence of the cats........ This gives rise to CEL P0420 (cat below efficiency) !!
If you have de-catted the car in search of more performance then it's more reasonable to have the car re-mapped which will rid you of this particular CEL without having to buy something to plug into the car !!!

You can try this. Seems to work for the STi guys
My 05 with a TurboXS TBE (hiflow cat, magnaflow muff) throws a P0420 CEL so I installed the spark-plug antifouler adapter between the rear O2 sensor and the O2 bung and it works great now. I haven't had a CEL in over 6000 miles. I would tend to say that the electronic fixes are JUNK. They often don't really work all that well and they are a hassle to install compared to the antifouler adapter.
I bought the 42009 (#1) and the 42002 (#2) at Advance Autoparts. Drill one of the 42002 out to fit in the 02 sensor (1/4" drill bit gets it done) and screw it into one of the 42009 as a base. The whole piece screws into the O2 bung and then you screw your O2 sensor into it. It works GREAT.
You'll spend about $10 total. They are "Help!" brand and come in a red blister pack:
