These are a con, also illegal, they work only because they blur the numberplate out, they dont work because they then use the negative which shows up your number.

THere is is an American Company that has a Spray & a Perspex Cover , you can buy either 0r, both I suppose.

Claim 100% effective.

Can be viewed ordinarly, so if Plod is driving around Car Parks looking at motors it doesn't draw attention to it.

When Mr Gatso takes your Pic it comes out all blurred.

Don't know if it works, got to be worth a look???

The problem is that the new spec cameras that the vans use are all digital and don't actually use a flash in daylight . So theses are pointless

i thought aswell if you have these number plates that "mirror" or "blur" when say a gatso flashes you... would they not do the same if any normal car lights "run across" your plates??

for instance say its dark and the plod is right up your **** at traffic lights... if their headlights come across the plates wouldnt they act the same as a camera flash and mr plod would see you have these "modified" additions?

They reckon that the gatso flash (strong at 200 watts) reflects a lot more that the standard 55/60 watts that are found on the car
