..just looked up when the commentator shouts "IT's OWEN!!!" at 500 decibels.
fair to say, it wasn't worth the neck muscles it took to pull my head up at the TV!!!

went up to the driving range to try out my new taylormade rac os11 irons, cant stand to watch a load of overpaid over egoed softies who feign death at the slightest touch from an opposing player or trip up over a blade of grass.

I can't see why on a nice summers day people would want to stand in a smokey pub getting bladdered, just to watch football. Coming home from the restaurant last night in the car, there was an england fan lying paralytic in the main road with another slightly less w@nkered mate trying to get him off the road and onto the pavement, unless (being football fans) they were actually trying to $hag each other - quite possible...
I really can't see why the world stops for football matches, fair play if people want to watch them though. Rugby/motorsport is more my thing, horses for courses I guess.

fair play if you dont like it, dont think there is anything else that uniteds so many people together in the same way tho, football grounds up and down the country are filled with 35000 + fans week in week out, find the ugly fat guys arm around ya when you score, a guy you would never even talk to in day to day life. love the game love the crowds love how it brings people together!

try watching rugby league - better than watching a load of wufters playing footie.
fans from both sides stood together with no animosity - just a great atmosphere with loads of banter.
