Question

Been shopping around for a new P1, looking to px my existing scoob.

Best offer 'to change' so far has been £12,600.

My current car which I am trading in; Impreza Turbo, 2000V, saloon, dbm, air, quickshift, barrier deadlock, 9.8k miles

I reckon I am looking at £15k for my car, perhaps then going on the dealers forecourt at £17k.

If my car is worth £15k then I would be getting the P1 for £27,600 which seems a pretty good price.

What do you all think?

In Surrey/S.London a V reg like that would be on the forecourt at abt £20k (B+C have a 98 S at £18k), so assume more like £17,500-18,000 trade in. Probably a bit ambitious for the dealer though. I would ignore the actual price of each car though coz both values will slip together - the changeover price looks good, so take it !

Cool

I think any dealer trying to sell your car for £20k would be very lucky to get that price.

The price for the P1 sounds pretty good though.

Enjoy...
