Default If an impreza is a fresh import ?

Does it have to have the auction sheet, if it wasnt bought here in the uk at auction ?

sounds daft i know, but dont know if this sheet is from japan or uk auction or what the process is of getting an impreza into uk ?

cheers.....

Most 'fresh imports' are ****e from docks auctions and they will certainly have had their original (Japanese auction) appraisal sheet destroyed. An 'auction sheet' from a docks auction but would good only for wiping your **** on. A high-grade car from a decent importer will be sold with the auction sheet as this established the vehicles grade at auction and its part of the cars's provenance.

as simon says! pardon the pun! no auction report defo not to be purchased, doesnt look to bad an example , but it looks like its seen quite a bit of paint work, the side skirt rubber seals have been colour coded due to yhe lack of masking tape and the back passenger side quarter / wheel arch has seen some repair work too, thats just from looking at the pics in the advert, from my own experience i have seen a lot of jdm imprezas that have had repaire work on the passenger quarter wheel arch area, must be due to parking in japan etc, i would be very carefull when looking at this car , also look at the inside of the doors to see if the skins have been replaced etc etc the check list is really to indepth to go into , an auction report is really essential and a service history is a bonus too, the auction report also confirms if there was a service history when the car was appraised in japan, cos the service historys dont always get here, i have mine sent by air mail with all of the other docs.

hmm, i dunno about the skirt rubber seals, my uk sport had those color coded too, nought wrong with that, better than being black !

both arches seem to have there rubber covers/sleeving removed, so maybe due to waxoiling or alike ?!?!?

sticky, what paintwork sorted out with a decent color match ?

cheers......

Hmm,so maybe this does make sense.....

" have various companies and a friend that sometimes offer me cars in japan and singapore. I have had several cars that have been pruchased from main dealers including a mazda bongo from a Tokyo Toyota dealership just last week. Both cars are new imports"

thats how the guy says he got hold of it.

Because on average 30,000 cars a day are sold through Japanese auctions compared to the insignificant number of cars sold directly by dealers. If you know as much as you think then youll know very well that virtually all imported cars do come from auction, irrespective of where you buy from.

IMHO , whatever its past history, this is too much for a car of this year. Bearing in mind he says "FRESH IMPORT", which means you will have to :
put an alarm cat1 type for insurance, put on rear fog light, Tax & register car. ( as he says its already mot'd n taxed ??)

He says its taxed ???? BUT he doesnt say it has a V5, so most likely unregistered, so how the f*ck does he tax it. ( is this possible)
hmmm
"PROBABLY new coils" - what does this mean
"heater dials professionally installed in glove comp" - how does he know this, does he have the paperwork
"it has nearly all mods done on it" - WTF does this mean

on a plus note - those alloys are nice, advans sposed to be light IIRC,
not sure but i think the seats look STi2 - nah forget that bit

looks like the engine bay has been given a basic clean, a few fresh imports i have seen have had god aweful dusty engine bays.

Just wonder how you know his feedback negatives are for computer games etc mate ?? no offence but 30 negatives to me regardless off what it is he is selling is enough for me to make alarm bells ring !!

but to be fair the car does actually look very clean and he has not been shy with the amount off photos off the car either, at the end off the day thou have a look at it you can then decide.
