WASTE GATE CHATTER???

hey people, what is wastegate chatter and is it true that it ***** up your turbo???

It's turbo surge as the air escapes the wrong way through the compressor. If you don't have the right turbo it will damage it, possibly catastrophically (sp?).

its not me, ma m8 had it fitted to his rx7 and it sounded nice, but then someone at ace cafe was sayin itll totally **** up your car, fanx 4 that though m8
