GF drives mine through the week, I generally take it for a blast on the weekend. Usually getting somewhere just over the 200 to a tank. I think this is fairly normal, however i'm sure someone will think differently.

Just got 361 miles to the tank on a run down to Derby (Sti PPP), Had the family on board so took it steady sticking at 70 mph. This is deffo not the norm, usually lucky to see 260 from a tank.

This seems to come up about every 10 minutes at present. On longer runs when touring I got (have recently sold the car) something a bit over 20mph. When driving it I got about 10mpg though others get somewhat less on the track where you can be a bit more committed and don't, I suppose, have the easy drive to and from the good roads. I also found that on short trips around town I would see something approaching 10mpg, never really measured it exactly but doubt it was more than 10mpg anyhow. Judging by other, similar threads, anything between 10mpg and 25mpg would be quite normal.

I've bought a golf diesel :-)
At present it is ideal for what I want and to be honest is an "all things considered" better car than the STi but it wouldn't pull you out of bed. 50mpg on longer runs is great though and the advantage of the golf is that getting anywhere gives you soooooo much time to calculate your fuel consumption.
