Default Fitting a front mounted to a l reg wrx type ra

Any one here recently fitted a front mounted intercooler to a 94 classic with the standard bumper .Was it a big job with alot of modifying and did u need to buy a new smaller radiator to fit it?

Thanks

James, if you wish, read the last 10 pages or search this thread of mine. It is all there for you .

Bit of a bitch of a job, not just 'bolt-on'

Adding up all the 'hour here, hour there' bits, i recon about 10 to 12 hours to get it finished.

If you had done one before, about 8 on your own.

To make the front bumper cutting safe and easy, use cardboard to make a template and cut inside the actual finished size for the first cut(s)
also use a felt tip marker so you have a clear line to see.
Allow a full weekend for the first time but after you have done a few this comes down to half a day with the right facilities and tools.

Dead right from Harvey. I used a genuine Hybrid kit and it was great which i bough of Harvey.
I found a jig saw with a medium blade on SLOW speed cut the bumper perfectly well.
