And acquire some axel stands so the car shouldn't come crashing down on your head, cos that might hurt a little.

I called into my local national tyres one Sunday and one of the lads fitted mine for a tenner straight in the old back pocket.
Kwik fit point blank refused because it wasn't theirs

Just leave it with them for a couple of days .... I'm sure they won't take it out

Just do it yourself you big girlie - 20 minute job.

Actually I would drive around and find someone willing to do it for cash-in-hand .............. they'll do it there and then!!

go to national, central tyres etc..forget kwitgits
all the rest will fit it for a small sum in 10 mins.

failing that, it aint hard mate, trolley jack as they all said, comes in handy for future projects , Jack it up, use axel stands if you have them, crawl underneath and do it yourself.
saves you some beer money and you have the satisfaction of doing it yourself

unless it comes crashing down on you, in which case, you will lose some weight sharpish

win win situation

Should be easy enough to do yourself as long as the fasteners are not rusty, then you might have a fight on your hands! If they are a bit to tight you might need some heat, Or try an indepentant tyre exhaust fitting centre, they don't normaly worry about who supplied the parts, all they care about is charging you ££££££'s for their labour for fitting. Independant tyre/exhaust retailers dont make much from their supplied products(thats why they are usualy cheap!) And they will normally bend over backwards to charge you £30 an hour for their services!

get yourself a trolleyjack. invaluable piece of equipment and save yourself running to places like "crap fit" every time you need to do a simple job.

Yes, rear diff.

Don't go under on a trolley jack though. Rare it is, but they DO collapse very occasionally. Halfrauds normally do a decent package on jac and two stands
