Wasn't necessary, All Wheel Drive, said the other car manufacturers not even suche a long time ago.

BMW and Merc produce AWD versions mainly for the people who live in places where it snows a lot! Eastern Europe / Apls / North America. They have never been sold here officially though.

Hopefully they will bring out a AWD 300bhp Focus then. Its been a long time since the Escort Cosworth.
