If you've just done the three steps you shouldn't need to polish it again for some time. Next time will just be a wash and blow dry surely? Make sure you use a gentle shampoo so to leave the polish on the bodywork. Auto-glym do a good one.
I think I've only ever done three stages the once! It took about 5 hours!! Since then I've found myself cheating, using just steps 2 and 3, the polish and the wax.
Get some pics up, I do love a clean car, and you don't get much cleaner than freshly 3 stepped.
(with a bit of luck we'll catch your reflection in the paintwork! )

Thanks ........ I think.....
This is what the nice man at meguirs said....
''''The quick answer is none of them.
DC#3 is the wax. You should only need to apply another coat of this every few weeks, not every time you wash the car. How often you wax your car is entirely up to you but every 2-3 weeks should be enough.
DC#2 is a glaze, which provides a glossy look to paintwork. This would normally be applied after using DC#1 (see below), so would probably only be used 2-3 times a year.
DC#1 is a chemical paint cleaner. It is used to remove embedded grime that washing and claying do not. It also will remove oxidised paint and will round the edges of fine scratches/swirl marks making them less noticeable. You only need to use this product 2-3 times a year. ''''
Bl**dy hard work.... took me 4 hours... but it was well worth it... have to wait for photies.. not worked out how to get them on here.... and... no... I havnt got a loaf of bread either!!!
