7500 service - mod friendly dealers in South?
#1
Wonder if anyone can help here?
Just coming up to my 7500 service in the P1. Since the first service I have had a turbo back exhaust fitted which I know is supposed to invalidate the warranty. My usual dealer is Adams of Aylesbury, and apart from being very expensive, I know that they will not honour any unofficial modding.
Does anyone know of a friendly dealer in my neck of the woods who doesn't mind exhaust mods and who doesn't charge the earth? I did a search on this and saw that people pay between £80 - £146 for the same service, how is that fair?
Also. I'm going to provide my own oil, is Mobil 1 Motorsport a good choice for my P1?
I live in Ascot, so anywhere in Berks, Surrey etc should be ok.
Thanks guys,
MS

Had a look on the Subaru site, and these seem to be the options:-
SGT - Maidenhead
Ace Kensington - Acton
Mill Lane - Basingstoke
Cheam Motors - Ewell
Concours Motor Co. - Haslemere
Which accepts mods and is priced sensibly?
Any ideas, pretty please with sugar on top?

Well, in terms of oil, Mobil motorsport 10w50 is ok, 0w40 is not.
Cant really help with dealers, hopefully anyone replying will do so by email, so they don't post on this board which dealer will happily let you 'cheat' warranty claims.(I don't have a problem with it, but I just think it's not right to potentially get the dealer in trouble by posting details like that on the bbs)

Try Mill Lane in Basingstoke. My UK98 is serviced there and I can thoroughly recommend them. I also know that the good DrEvil got a few things done to his old P1 there, and that wasn't exactly standard, I believe..
