Default Can classic impreza front seats be taken apart?

I have a cousin in the UK and he plans to visit me in the USA. I'm planning to bid on some ebay auctions to get a set of front seats and have him bring it over. As we know freight cost alot to ship it over-sea, so I'm going to make him take the front seats apart, like bottom and back pieces. And put them into the box. The airline allows you to carry 2x 75lbs boxes and 1 carry on.

Anyways taken them apart and have pictures of them stacking up? Thanks

yes very easily too

iirc, take the recliner plastic handle off the lever, remove the side trim, exposes two (i think) screws, then pull them apart. Can't remember exactly but it took about 5 min each.

no you cant take the covers off.
and yes there is a little zip in the hole at the top, but it does sweet FA.
they are pinned/stapled on so unless you have the tools to put them back on, dont bother.
