Default F**king DVLA..

They have lost the V5C for the Scooby, so we now need to go through all of the hassle of filling out a V62 and sending that in with the new owner supliment (which is a pain in the **** because if that goes walk abouts we have to pay), does anyone work for the DVLA who can give someone an **** kicking?

i hate the dvla as well so you are not alone. we had to fill in a v62 and send them £19 last week to get the car registered in my partners name, and then have to the cheek when i rang them this morning to see what was going on with reg doc and get 'you need to be patient as we are still checking it and even then you won't get it for three weeks'. are their computers really that crap?

Its a pain in the ****! We've got a DVLA office down the road but they cant deal with it.. whats the point of it being there?..

Their telephone system made me laugh too.. "Sorry our lines are busy, blah, blah.. Please call back later... <CLICK>"...

Nothing like making life easy

incompetant is not the word. i've been dealing with them since bf got car, and i had no problems with getting to speak to me, but the other morning for the first time ever i was told that they could tell me nothing and that bf had to ring them instead. more like he couldn't be bothered to sort it out.

it just does my head in that it has to take such a long time!!!

The plot thickens! There was a little hand written leaflet/postcard type thing when I got home; from the DVLA.. I've phoned them back up and spoke to some wonderfully partronising woman who says this is all normal.. So its normal for someone to tell me its been lost get me to fill out a V62 and then even though we've received a reciept still not be able to find it on their system..
