Default Banzai S202

Scoobynet got an offical mention in Banzai magazine thanks to the Yellow S202.

Apparently the S202 is controversial and received a bashing on this BBS , i recall we expressed our opinions on a rare car that had been molested . The write up read with a slight bias toward the Scoobynet concensus as much as i could understand with some of the styling being tasteless and it said that he spoke to the owner and convinced him that the rear morrettes must go!

Oh well, publicity is publicity, dispite being positive or not .

Was that the one that didnt have the S202 brake discs, exhaust (Titanium btw so who would want to get rid of it ) the non-S202 spoiler (ie a normal STi one painted yellowish) the lack of the S202 wheels.... oh basically the one that wasnt really what it seemed??

Twas defo a 202 because i owned it for a while but then again i do buy a lot of oddball cars!!!! I do admit i bought it in haste and should have done a bit of research on the S202's before i parted with a Tesco bag of cash but i thought WTF i can afford it and i had an enjoyable time zooming around the Welsh valleys in it..........one thing i did think.....although it should never have had a bodykit fitted, i often wondered if the people who slagged it the most would have ever afforded such a car be it spoilt or not???? Just a thought

No, my point of view is why slag a car off that badly without actually seeing, driving and owning such as car and i also believe that to rip the p1ss out of something badly then i think you should own something better in the first place!! Probably was just jealousy in many

i dont think people was slagging off s202s as a whole, just this particular one due to its colour and mods that were not to everyones taste.they are very capable and rare cars and much more appealing in a different colour. my 2 year old thinks its great

what was done to that S202 is equivalent to giving a 22b the full Halfords treatment, just not cricket

Good points lads but wouldn't life be a little boring if we all liked the same thing?? TBH i really liked the car even though i did have my worries when i bought it and i wouldn't buy such a rare car that had been changed again. I wonder how many people who slagged her have the fine £50 Lexus lights on their Classics ...........each to their own
Running around now in a standard 53 plate STi and a new shape BMW convertable so i must be getting mellow eh
Dave.

Default My old s202

Go on dave its about time those lot finally realised that they went over the top and were out of order slagging off the s202. Firstly for the 1st gut who cant read that it is the rare'st colour out there and THATS WHY Jo Clifford of Banzai came down here pretty rapid as there are'nt many in the Uk especially Originals in Astral Yellow that were New Cars in the first place. Secondly being a spec C now you must be on to strong a can of coke mate as only the s202 carries most of the unique standard items that that car has and not a spec C. And finally the spoiler is a Wings West item and 'Not a painted Sti spoiler' that was previously mentioned, and as it was sold to a mate i may ask him if i can borrow it to go to jap fest so as i can Blitz a few of these so called fast scooby owners on here who choose to slag off a proper car and as i read the other week in one of the jap mags when a group of you went to a rolling road in your proper cars making nothing power in the process i shouldent have a problem as ive had shopping cars that fart more power than most of them.
See you on the road, the Biker Lives.

Hello matey!! Of all the 200+ Scoobies i've bought/sold this was easily the quickest and most fun !! I had a fair few challengers and saw each and everyone off (in safe surroundings of course!!). Even i was unsure when i went up to Kent to buy it but after driving her i fell in love .......love is blind according to many but judging by the way my cars are selling lately i've an eye for a pretty girl

Like having sex with a fat bird according to some. And that car was a one time stunner who had turned into a 30st bed ridden minger.
