I got in a race today with 6 other people over 12miles in a kayak, But got beaten at the last 1/2 mile by some spotty teenager, who obviously had some serious mods on his kayak to do that to me. If it was in the twisties or the wet I would of had him.

I raced my 12 year old daughter around the park today and got beaten by miles.

Must be getting old as the knocklink was going like the clappers

Your taking the **** out of people that say they race and yet have "360 BHP" in your profile ? either you don't use it, or your towing a caravan.

everybody had a little play now again... I don't for one minute believe that anybody with an Impreza hasn't had a bit of fun with another motorist who was up for it at some point - but obviously you have to be reasonable on public roads.

It was my impression on most forums if you ask a serious question most have a good enough community to try their best to provide the information your asking for. A couple of people are making this look untrue on scoobynet.

You are right of course. I just think most people don't post about it, besides you never know who's reading

you'd be surprised who does read this forum.

I learn't this from personal experience - but thankfully the worst didn't happen.

You do get the odd person who comes on here boasting about driving / racing at silly speeds and then wonders why they get negative responses.

Problem cropped up with the car. I went to the trouble of returning the car to standard and took in it to the garage to get the issue fixed on warranty - the fault wasn't related to the modifications. The service manager at the dealer worked out who I was through this, more or less knew what I'd done to the car. Discussed the fault and thankfully he agreed to put it through as he accepted it wasn't likely to be down to the modifications. He was a resonable and decent bloke, but had it gone differently I could of been landed with an expensive bill.

Sure most will have heard of situations where police have gotten involved after reading threads on here also.
