Default Lexus and Mitsubishi Logos?

I've noticed that many parts of the Impreza seem to have what look like Lexus and Mitsubishi logos? The brake callipers for example have the Lexus logo and the three triangle Mitisi logo cast into them.. Various parts of the dash also have what looks like the Lexus logo?

Whats the crack?

Wink

You have three cars welded together. It must be one of those limited edition EVO IS200 STi VER 6 FQ`S.

Iv noticed on mine they use a few mitsi parts. Most car firms share alot of parts with each other.

You'll also find a lot of the switches and electrical bits are made by Nissan.

This is very common, its cheaper for a relatively small manufacturer like Subaru to buy in parts from other manufacturers rather than have to design their own.

Does take the micky sometimes though when you order a genuine Impreza part, only to find out its the same part used on some bottom of the range car from another maker, only you had to pay 3 times as much for it !

This is what REALLY REALLY PISSES ME OFF about Subaru..

Not to mention that a large majority of the parts on the latest model are the same as they were on the early classics but they have the cheek to sell the parts at an extortionate price even thought he manufacturing techniques are probably so refined now they cost peanuts to make.

Same with most manufacturers, my Golf had many parts with Audi stamped on them.

And companies like Visteon produce a large amount of car components.

VAG make VW, Audi and Skoda.. But most of the skoda parts generally cost less even though they are the same thing

Same with CIT and Pug..

Bit different with Subaru as they are just using other peoples parts to save costs then charging a fortune for them, much like TVR..
