Default 90k service

My brother is interested in getting a wagon so just been to look at a UK MY98 wagon.
It has done 90k and still needs the 90k service doing which I gather isnt cheap. Roughly how much is this service?
The other problem is the passenger airbag. Is there anyway of disabling this airbag so a child seat could be placed on the front seat?

Thanks in advance for any help

The 90k service is a biggie. At a non-main-dealer specialist, expect to pay between £400 and £500, I reckon. Main dealer? maybe £700?

It's cambelt, oil, oil filter, brake fluid, gearbox oil, diff oil, engine coolant, plugs... you name it, it's all due.

Thanks for the reply, Think Its best to leave this particular car then.
Do you have any idea if the passenger airbags can be disabled or not?

I paid £730 for a cambelt service on a MY00 at a main dealer!

Never been back since though!

****, I paid £400 for a cambelt service at 60K. My 90K service was £350, both at main dealer.

Subaru changed the frequency of the timing belt changes from every 45K to every 60K. Worth checking with local Dealers and Subaru UK to double check this.
