Alrite lads,

All is ok now with my car...... but!?!?

The other day when coming down the slip road onto the motorway, i was cruising in 4th gear and when i tried to accelerate, the car just bogged and totally died!! I dropped it down to 3rd touched the accelerator again and it still happend, so dropped it to second to try and keep the revs high and touched the accelerator lightly and the car came to life and drove completely fine and has been since when cruising or giving it some.

Just wondering if anybody has had anything like this before? it was almost as if the fuel pump had blocked for 10/20 seconds or the electrics had failed.

very strange!! btw It had about 3/4 tank of optimax in it at the time.

any other victims ?
