1 does fitting a dump valve invalidate the warranty?

2 If so is it easy to get on and off for services etc?

3 Is it easy to fit?

4 do you have to get anything else done?

In sequence.
1. Yes, any non standard part wil invalidate your warranty.
2. No need to remove it once on for servicing.
3. About twenty minutes max.
4. Not really.
5. How loud do you want it? Turbosmart for a loud one or a baileys/ forge one.
6. Turbosmart is expensive about £250! Others about £80/90. Whereabouts in Yorkshire?

hi i prosume you have a newage so they wont like it i.e for warranty as they pretty much don't like you doing owt to the car but its very easy to put on the car as you only need dump valve and cap to block off recirculating pipe but it usualy comes with dump valve. so its very easy to swap for service if you get this done at subaru if not you prob wont have to bother. make wise depends on your taste i have a turbosmart supersonic but there is an extra part to fit which is easy to do it just replaces the 2 metal pipes on front of intercooler to one pipe you can get a turbosmart from aet turbos in normanton for aroud £200. but there loads out there well lane in batley do a good one for i think £135 which is a straight swop and cap but theres loads so you can pay anywhere from £100 to £300.

hope this helps steven

ive got a 2001 wrx and mine didnt run as good after fitting either!!!

it didnt lose boost, but it seemed more hesitant and infact seemed like it had more lag! cause my car was overfueling with it on... i soon swapped back to the standard valve.
