Question

Just had the local Subaru dealer fit a barrier lock to my new scoob. Now when I stop there's a burning smell both inside and outside the car. Everything under the bonnet appears ok & it's certainly going ok

My guess is that they have managed to get some dust onto something that is getting hot & the smell is the dust burning. However I don't understand why it should only smell when I stop. Anyone with a better idea before I talk to the garage on Monday?

When you stop there is no air-flow under the car to take the smell away. Obviously when you're on the move the smell is left behind. See the dealer - they caused it!
