Off topic - Freeserve connection dodgy ?

yeah i have the same problem you carn't get on freeserve for love nor money after six,its getting to the stage where i am looking for a alternative unlimited time package as 2 hours to log on is totally taking the ****..

It's been difficult to get connections to freeserve unlimited for a month or so. Checkout the freeserve.discuss newsgroup for the gory details. BTW, if you are on unlimited, do not connect for too long - you might get your account closed down if you do...

I assume that the people with problems are all modem users. Myself and all the people I know who use ISDN have no problems. Cos we have a number of PC's all sharing the same connection it means we are online from 7am to 1am most days - things are just peachy.
I guess when you consider the amount of people on isdn compared to modems there's bound to be a difference.

Can't help you with Freeserve poblems but the board seems slooooow tonight.
Workmate is with Freeserve and he's always complaining about it being busy.
Have a second line and free NTL connection myself so I leave it on Autoconnect 24 hours a day.
