95H Touch Up Paint
#1
I recently purchased Deep Blue Mica 95H touch up paint - absolutely pathetic match coming out extremely dark navy colour.
This was official Subaru part and had correct paint code on the bottle.
Can anyone vouch for a supply of decent stuff, please?

Thanks Steve,
I'm in Hertfordshire and would gladly pay you the postage. However, I suspect that if your car was much more than a year old the DBM colour has changed slightly on my MY00 and the match will not be spot on. Dark blue Mica vs Deep Blue Mica have different paint codes - don't know why Subaru did it!
You would think the stuff I bought was black if you didn't look closely - there is no way its going on the car.

Give Jim Childs (Parts Manager) at Cheam Motors a call on 020 8394 2263. They have a third party firm that mixes paints for them. The match is superb. I have an MY00 DBM turbo, which had the passenger side door replaced after a minor accident. The paint match is outstanding. They can also mix aerosols for touching up.
I have a can of DBM and I used this to spray those orange thingies by the fog lights - match is very good (the paint that they supplied is two stage - you apply a clear top coat to get the correct finish).
Cheers
Chris
