I've had my bugeye scoob wrx 2 months now and OBVIOUSLY I've been bitten by the Subaru bug! Trouble Is I already want a newer, faster one!! I love the blobeye's, around 03 - 04 mark. I couldn't afford one, two months ago but I've been promoted since so I earn £550 extra a month!! All very well you say but one BIG problem. My girlfriend

She Is dead against the idea. All she can think about is holidays and saving for weddings!! Its causing heat. What should I do?

It may already be too late cos once I get an idea in my head that's it!!

Tell how much happier you'll be if you had a Blobeye, surely it woudl not cost an extra 500 dabs a month.

Failing that when you trade in your Bugeye trade in your Girlfriend as well - or get her to get a second job

I must admit I am in exactly the same boat (or you could say bugeye) as you. Purchased my bugeye 6 weeks ago and I feel exactly the same. As a stop gap, my suggestion is get a PPP fitted (3 months saving on that money) which will give it some more poke. This obviously doesn't affect your warranty and gives you 30 odd more horses. It also adds some value to the car when you come to sell it.

The lady wouldn't even notice you've done it too. Just tell her you're using different petrol

or

I'd say c) blobeye looks much better and could quite happily get as much ladies as you wish

If the answer to the previous Qs is no. Then I suggest you do what makes you happy, if that means listening to the GF, fine. If that means the car comes first then so be it!

Just do it mate.When I bought my old car privately I took the missus with me. The seller asked her what she thought of his pride and joy classic Impreza he was seeling me and she replied a cars a car as long as it gets u from A to B. He then replied well if I was sellin a f#ckin washing machine I bet u'd av an opinion. The missus wouldn't let me buy it cause he was so rude to her. Needless to say I went back the next day and bought it off him. Told the bewer i got it from another seller.

 

Or u could just buy her a new washing machine to keep her sweet.
