Default spoiler removal trick of the trade

im trying to remove a boot spoiler that has been bonded to the boot with what appears to be windscreen sealer i would welcome any ideas on how to remove it.been trying to cut throught with a knife but so far unsucessful.

Personally i'd probably use cheese wire...Same as If I were cutting a windscreen out, you obviously need proper equipment though.

Sharp knife but also lube up the glue with something too like glass cleaner, makes it easier to cut through.

Absoloute BITCH to remove, you can try cellulose thinners to help but they wont do much for the paint.. Also a heat gun will help soften it up A LOT..

Not sure where you'd buy cheesewire from TBH, you'd need handles too & I always use kevlar gloves just in case, so prolly work out quite expensive going down that route. Try the lubing up trick and also change the blade on the knife regulary to keep it sharp, I cut through windscreen bond this way & have removed a few spoilers (roof spoilers mainly) so this way should work...

would a hairdryer work by warming it up, it worked when i de-badged
