Smile When do you get a chance to put you foot down...

I was wondering, what with majority of us owning very powerful cars... when do you really get a chance to put foot down... and stay within the legal requirements...

Who likes the feeling of accellaration and who likes the speed...

Your views...???

I think people sometimes confuse speed and acceleration. The former isn't really that exciting- most of the thrill of high speed runs is derived from the fact that it's against the rules! ;-) Sustained high speed in a straight line is rather uneventful.

It's the acceleration, braking and cornering forces that make driving exciting, both physically and psychologically. You can do this within the NSL, but the kind of roads that are amenable to this are less common than we'd all like!

I don't think those 2 things go to well together.. As in putting the boot down and staying within the law.. Unless you go on a track!
