I've used them on white painted alloys for a couple of years with no problems whatsoever. The fact thy're gold shouldn't make any difference. But don't sue me if I'm wrong!

Wink

I used it on my Prodrive ST2's and it ruined one of them now I dont use anything but soap and water. If you clean them reguarly you dont need wheel cleaner.

I used it on my 16" Speedlines on my old Williams 3, I used it a couple of times and noticed a tiny bit of gold colouring in the residue that washed off (I was very scared the first time I used it) So after about three or four goes I stopped, I reckon if you used it a lot it would remove the gold eventually - all depends on the thickness of the paint I spose - but IMHO - tread carefully...

I've been using WW on gold alloys for 3 years with no problems - but I always rinse it off thoroughly with a pressure washer.

It does strip the laquer off the brake calipers and causes them to rust though.

I have gold OZ's on mine and Ive used WW once in the last 3 months (cause im paranoid) - i would say if u used a small amount for really stubborn brake dust it shouldnt give you a problem - just make sure you use the minimum and wash it off really well afterwards!

Caused my calipers to rust so I only use it where absolutely necessary now.

Top notch stuff. You don't need to use it every wash, maybe every 2-3 months. Mal

Just be very careful how long you leave it on for. Bit too strong in my opinion.

Used it on gold wheels every week for two years no worries. Just rinse off with plenty of water.

I've used them on my gold wheels and no problems - still can't get all the brake dust off them though.

Just follow the manufacturers guidelines and it should be okay.
