Check the small print, but you should find that as long as you have had the car serviced properly and stamped up in the service book the warranty should still be valid regardless of where the work is carried out, if so try in independant scooby specialist. In my experience independants seem to be more enthusiastic and have a passion for the motors.

If you fancy a non-franchised specialist then consider Jeff & Dean at Subaru Service Centre in Sheffield. Theyre ex-Bentleys factory trained technicians and Id wholeheartedly recommend them; theyre massivley experienced and youll love the bill too.

I thought you could use any VAT registered garage for service work and still keep your warranty??
