Well i leave This friday (28th) For My first weekend at the ring this year, I went last year a couple of times in my MR2 Turbo

Never driven the wrx hard yet so it should be fun......still got a few bits to get sorted like i,ve just got some 4-pots and some new disc's and pads to fit....some new ARB's and drop links along with my AST sportline coilovers if they arrive!!!! Oh and i still got to get the leaking rockers sorted and fit a stereo that works!!!

Quick question for those who have been,How long does it take approximately travel time from uk to the ring? and the cost of taking it on the track . Really hoping to get my car there before i sell her

Between 4 and 5 hours from Calais and a weekend will cost you about £500

Approx 4 to 5hrs from Calais. Cost is 17 Euro per lap but you can by 12 lap & 25 lap tickets & save a couple of Euros in total.

Insurance is a strange question ......not wanting to start a big debate but unless your policy excludes de-restricted toll roads you should be covered......

I remember the last time i went abroad i had to notify my insurance company i was going abroad, however i was not sure whether to tell them i was off to the ring or not

You have to tell your insurance company you are going abroad but for gods sake dont tell them you're going to the ring, your cover will be dropped quicker than you can say willop........

What cars have you been on the ring with? have my 96 sti which i really want to take but also have the gf's mi16 which is fun but so temperamental the last 6 months i don't know if i would trust her making it

My 205 lives there for 8 months of the year. The drive there and back in March and November usually is a fingers crossed affair so its better for me to leave the car there and be done with it .......

If you're asking what cars I have been round the ring in, it varies from rental astra's to 996GT3's being driven by race drivers, or lunatic locals........

Just make sure you have good breakdown cover ......
