Exclamation How much for an MY06 Spec C!!!!

http://www.euroautosalvage.co.uk/imprezav9.htm

I always look at this site just to see the states of some the smashed up cars on there and then came across the page to which I've provided the above link for.

Out of curiosity I contacted them asking 'What would be the total cost of having a brand new one imported into the country?.

He replied with nothing other than '£23,000' and that was it.

Surely that can't be right??

Does that include all the SVA stuff and registering and whatever else you need to do to it to get it road legal in UK?

If so that is a cracking deal, might look into it myself...
Fancy a classic STi RA next tho, keeping the old eyes peeled...

I couldn't tell you mate as all he replied with was just the price and that was it, but I did ask 'what is the FULL price' so whether or not that is it I don't know. I'm planning on giving him a ring tomorrow if I get the chance. Haven't had the chance to over the weekend as I've been in work.

If that price is the full price though then I'm certainly interested.....

I'm not surprised you're interested as it is a fair old price.
Let us know what he says once you've spoke to him, I might be interested in the not too distant future...

Chances are your going to need the model report for it, esva and all the bits to go with it, im not sure how much it will cost to get the model report of Litimports, you may have to give them a call.
Oh and its not a version 9, its a version 12.

I will definitely keep you informed, only problem being I doubt I'll internet access for the rest of this week as I'm off a work training course tomorrow until Friday, but rest assured if I can get to a PC and post any info I will.

TBH though, that price for a Spec C has to be too good to be true, surely??

Then the ad is misleading by showing the brochure for a version 12 car then?

I think he means the ad is for a version 12 but he has put version 9 on the ad.
Thats how it looks to me anyway.
That might be why the price is so good, coz its a 3 yr old car!!!!!!!

Strange that they had the 06 Spec C advertised for £27K last time I checked that site, maybe I've missed the price this time.

If I was spending that sort on money on a car I'd use someone with a good reputation like Litchfields not a bunch of scally wee ******* that I wouldn't buy a wheelnut from!

Good point.

I think I'll give him a ring though just to see what the deal is with this.

...don't hold back there - give it to him straight

Personally I would strongly recommend someone like Iain at Litchfields for a job well done.
