Last week some to$$er decided to sit on the middle of my bonnet and has ended up denting it. Basically there are 3 small dents each around 4 inches in diameter.

I've taken the car to my local dealer, but they want around £700 to replace the bonnet (the best option in their opinion).

Therefore, has anybody else had any experience with Dentmaster, etc. for removing such damage, and if so, how good was the job when completed. Also, how much should I expect to pay.

Thanks in advance.

Mark.

IMHO

I have used Dentmaster before with great effect. I believe that they can only 'treat' dents where the metal is not creased or scored.

Have you tried a breakers such as Grade A Subaru for a s/h bonnet, they may have one. at best it may match the colour at worst you can get it painted. I recon a s/h bonnet and painting/fitting will set you back around half of the dealer quote.
