Question

Morning all...I just wanted to check that I'd got my facts straight about the new model (apologies if this has been covered already)...

Cost is going to be £21,495 (+£250 for metallic paint).

Car comes with 215/45/zr/17 wheels, air con and a cd player. Bhp stays the same but bottom end torque (allegedly) goes up. Some interior changes (i.e. drilled pedals, etc).

If this is right then I think I'll probably get one. I know it's not much to look at but, when the scoob was first launched, most people said the same to me when I went out and bought one. As I said then, I don't buy a car to look at. ;-)

I think the looks will probably grow on me but, as long as it is fun to drive, it could look like a lada for all I care!

Bear in mind its heavier than the previous model with no more power.
Many cars have gone down this route.....BMW 3 series / Golf GTi's etc - they become "nicer" cars - safer/built better/ more comfortable etc but at the expense of driver involvment.
Also the "old" Turbo stated 215bhp though this was more like 230-235bhp - wonder if the new one will be more powerful than stated ?

Brew.
