Default 2002 Bugeye wagon value please?

Hi everyone

What do you think a mint 2002 bugeye wagon with FSSH with 17000 miles should go for on a private sale?
Cheers

Has it had any Frontal Treatment or is it the standard ugly??

If it's the ugly then your challenge is finding someone willing to pay anything - if you do, I guess about £7500?

Ahhhh, Mr Lewis. It's had Prodrive lamps and a waist spoiler, all fitted at Subaru at purchase.

Waist spoiler .... I've got one of them, its called a trouser belt!

I have bad news - those items do not turn the ugly duckling into a swan, sorry!

£7500 ...... they are REALLY, REALLY ugly!

No Pete, not those lamps. They are like Morette but nicer looking and by Prodrive of course! Personally, I think it makes the car look much better than standard.

I like the bugeye myself - downhill all the way since then imo.

But they ain't popular and it'll be a painful price I expect. Mods add no value and may hurt the price, cos you limit the appeal.

That's low miles, but still... £8k? It's worth what someone will pay, as ever.

I'm vaguely looking for a bugeye wagon myself, but getting distracted by S4s.

Have just traded in my nothing like mint 01 wagon. Lots of scratches on the roof, a dent in the front wing, a hole in the bumper from a siren hose, and 56k miles for £7k.

Oh - and I couldn't find the ashtray

Blue Dragoon - those are the ones! So are they a Prodrive option? Just want to make sure. Looks great by the way. So, at 9995 with all the work done to it too, I guess a private sale of the one I am looking at (02 and 17K miles) would be looking at 8K.

WR Sports Items in the Accessories List on the Subaru site. Made by Hella for Prodrive, standard fit to the UK 300 WRX at the time. Try Ebay but now very desirable. I would up your to £9k and fight from there. No bites come down but I got £10k for my 01 WRX Saloon on a P/X with my Subaru dealer with 38K on the clock. An aftermarket warranty would cost a few hundred as an aside.

Cheers Blue although I'm not a seller, I'm a buyer! I just sold my 03 Blob eye WRX and would like to move into this bugeye I've seen (the seller has not fixed a price yet) to realise some cash for a growing family - our first child!
