Anyone know the history of this car?
Hi all
Not sure if this is the right place to post - apologies if not!
Seen a 51 plate Wagon for sale at Church Lane Garage in Marple.
(it can be found via autotrader -
Reg YN51 AFF.
Is a UK WRX (even tho someone has put Sti badges on it)
Does anyone know anything about it?
Thanks in advance
Sean
ps: not getting on with the Forester - time to go back to an Impreza .

Did you test drive that today? I'm sure I saw one with that plate on and a uk300 spoiler on it this morning.
Get yourself over to www.scoobysmacs.co.uk when you get it, and come and say hello on the northern forum.
I'm not far from Marple, but not heard anything about that car
chris.

Hi Chris
We were over there on Saturday for a test drive.
Felt and looked like a good 'un - but am gonna get an independent inspection anyway...
Not sure if it has that spoiler - do wagons have that type?
Will deffo check out the local group (if I buy it) - live in Buxton - so plenty of nice roads...

According to RAC it has had 3 previous owners including the current one, and last changed hands on 28 Sept 2005. Given the dealer would not have registered it, the question would be why it has changed into the dealer so soon after it was registered at the end Sept. Might be simple explanation but worth checking out...

Highly recommend getting a pre-inspection report - made the money back straight away.
Have seen 2/3 fozzies in Buxton - mostly driven by grannies. What a disappointing car the (UK) Forester is! Same insurance group but nowhere near the performance/handling - I've had it a year and thats enough time for me!
Back to an Impreza
Just hope I dont crash this one!
