2005 WRX PPP Value??
Hi peeps,
I've been thinking of selling my car but have been getting a wide range of prices for what i could sell it for.
It's 2005 WRX (wr blue), 11000 miles.
Prodrive pack, official sti spolier, tracker, silver seal on the exterior and interior. Mint apart from a couple of stone chips on the bonet.
What price could this sell for?
I was thinking around 15-16k.

Just sold mine MY05 WRX SL 5-door (grey) with 16,000 miles and PPP privately and got £14,500. And bearing in mind mine is as rare as hens teeth (given there are no SL with PPP), about the best I could hope for.
Dealers were offering about £13k on trade-in and that was the highest I got.
You're too high with that I'm afraid. I know I have an extra 5,000 miles but the SL is worth more as well... Tracker and spoiler isn't going to make any difference to the price...

My local dealer has pre-reg, new WRX's on 06 plates, old shape for £15,995, new STI's 06 plates (last shape) for £21,495.
Not a chance of a dealer paying £15 - 16k for a used one, with or without extras as they'd be selling it for £14,000 max anyway while this stock is there. And they can't shift the new stuff - its' proving a real struggle.
I've had my 03 WRX for 2 and a half years now, I am keeping it and doing some work to it when the warranty ends in 8 weeks - then it will be like a new car again.
Like everyone else, I have thought of selling many times, but was never worth it - and every time I drive it I realise I have spent too much on it to give it away, and WHAT A GREAT CAR

I'm in the same boat. Decided to keep mine after several derisory dealer offers and buyers who'd rather buy a standard car and spend £3k getting it like mine than pay £500 extra to get mine all done and ready. **** 'em I say, I'll keep on enjoying it, improve it further and suffer even more depreciation on another day

I paid £14,600 for my WRX PPP MY05 (55 Plate) with 9k on the clock in January. That was a staff sale and it was on the pitch at £15,995 if I remember correctly.
Like yours the car is mint other than a few (Standard to model ) stone chips they seem to pick up real easy...

Extras will only ever make the car easier to sell and rarely do they increase value, SL versions are only standard cars with extras at the end of the day
I would have said the 2 would be very similar in price, with the saloon being easier to sell, as theres a wider market for it over than the hatch. But, you never know whats round the corner really

Traded mine in for £14500 2 months ago - 0505 WRX PPP 9500 miles with PFF7s, Kenwood DVD/TV, Eibach springs, Mudflaps and subtle tints.
Your car is worth what someone is willing to pay which is never as much as you hope. £14.5k is the most I was offered from numerous stealers.
Good luck.
And remember, if you are offered way more than the guide price, the stealer is making it back on whatever you are buying.

Cheers for the advice.
Think i might hold out and see if anyone wants it for 15k.
Not too desperate to sell at the mo.
Although I shouldn't of had a test drive in the 320 evo. Quite liked it....
Probably shouldn't mention the e word on this website!
Was thinking of a trade in but thought they would give me jack for the car and overprice what i was buying. So I lose big time.
