Default Black Diamond brakes

so can anyone tell me are these any good. was going to buy black diamond grooved discs and predator pads are they any good

might still have some mintex c-tech pads that are brand new and boxed that will fit your car you might be intrested in...
i had black diamond discs on mine and the were great for the price,but was advised to go for different pads...

I bought the drilled/grooved/vented black diamond discs and fitted them with Ferodo DS2500.
I remember at the time the brakes used to suffer from brake fade quite a lot when out on country roads giving it some stick with standard Vented discs.

After the change to the above lot the fade had gone and the stopping distance was a lot shorter.

cool cheers, i was told not to get drilled discs as they are prone to cracking

I've heard it too but I think thats more important when it comes to track days etc.........if you think it will be relevant then just get the grooved/vented ones.

I have the drilled and grooved discs with predator pads and ive not had any problems with them, they are alot better than standard, i didnt dare drive the car fast before i changed them.

yeah same here, brakes are ****e need to try something to get better brakes.
have decided to go for vented black diamond discs all round with predator pads along with set of black diamond brake hoses hopefully this should make brakes a bit better
