i know there are lovers and haters of ebay, but im after some crystal sidelights and wondering if the ebay ones are ok? they tend to be about £30 rather than £50 from flat4/scoobyworld etc

is it one of those cases when you get what you pay for?

Not sure about the quality but don't the ones from flat4 come with silvertec bulbs whereas the ones on ebay come with normal orange bulbs? probably wrong though

Opps sorry I'm getting confused. Its the clear bumper indicators where flat4 provide clear bulbs whereas the ebay ones come with orange bulbs.

I had mine from Ebay. Cant remember the seller sorry but the quality was ok. They came with standard clear bulbs, but bought some whites off Ebay for a fiver.

do they make white bulbs, arent they just clear?

Ill try and have a look later mate. Im at work at the mo and Ebay is blocked...It was quite a while ago though. If I remember the seller had a shop and quite a big feedback rating. May have been waxacar something like that.

The bulbs I think are philips hyper whites. The actual bulb is blue but they shine through white like the Xenons. I got them to match my HID headlight bulbs.

The silvertec ones are used in the indicators and repeaters not sure if they do them for the sidelights..

ive already got the phillips blue ones. much whiter light, now just need the crystals to finish off the front end!
