Hi,

I’m sure plenty of you have changed from classics to new age? And I was wondering how the seats compared? Very interested in comments by spec c drivers especially, as these are the ones I’m looking at

I currently have type-r seats, but I don’t find them that huggy/supportive compared to recaro’s and the likes. In a perfect world I would like the Recaro’s that were fitted to certain Impreza’s, but the chances of finding these are slim to say the least!

had an import MY95 WRX and seats were very sporty and comfy, now have a MY05 WRX PPP seats are less sporty but still comfy but i suspose thats due to the air bags in the seats!

Spec C seats are no different then any other STi as far as I am aware. Support was not too bad, but no where near as good as my Sparco's!

The only difference (so i've been told!) is that spec c seats don't have airbags in them!!

What sparco's do you have? and what are they like on longer journeys?

You want an EU (or better still jdm) car as they have the sti/bucket/hump between knees seats. Even on the WRX. Much better than the bench/USA/lard **** seats in non sti uk cars..! They don't have side airbags though (as sti) but personally I couldn't live with the uk seats..!
