Default Boost Speed

This thread was inspired by the Fuel economy / Performance thread, so apollogies for hyjacking!

I have a standard 94 WRX, with a chip. A switch is fitted so i can change between standard and the higher boost setting. Anyway, when running on standard, i wish to gain most economy on motorways over long distances - so to cut a long story short, what is the optimum speed to get the best economy?

Another question is at what speed does the boost kick in during fifth gear?

Default

40mph in 5th i'd say.

boost switch makes no difference if you're sitting off boost in 5th, it's just a gimmick.

find the revs that your turbo strats to spool up and stay below that
