Best guess at performance times for my WRX?
I bought pauls WRX the other weekend and getting the usual, "what power is it putting out?", "how fast is it etc etc?" usual chavvy lads at work doing their thing.
But it has got me thinking as to what the performance times might be.
Based on the following spec anyone hazard a guess to some times?
1996 WRX
340BHP/320lb/ft @ 1.4 bar
Sti Type R gear box
Exedy racing clutch
Lightened flywheel
Running 16`s with uniroyal rainsport tyres.
estimated times for:
0-60
0-100
standing 1/4?
Im thinking a touch quicker than an sti 4 type R, but would welcome everyones thoughts.
And yes hopefully will visit the pod later this summer and find out
Thanks.

saw a 350bhp type r do a 12. somthing standing quarter so shold be around that, take a guess at about 4.4 0-60 ish but will vary due to wind, grip, driver etc etc

There is a performance calculator on the web, frequently referred to on here. I think its callledlets talk torque or something along those lines. It gives you an educated estimate of the above performance figures.
I can tell you that your car will be what is technically referred to as *ahem* F***ing fast!!

A) Get some driver training
B) Get it looked at- that's well off the pace! Even launching like a granny and then flooring it through the gears should see you below 6 secs to 62mph.
