Gary

I think the stereo (from memory) is a Kenwood mass produced cheapo.

Best bet is to do away with the double din fitment and fit a single din unit.

Lots of options this way.

Dont forget the speakers there crap too.

Thanks mick, yeah I know, in fact the whole setup sounds worse than my old 02 WRX bug eye so I guess an upgrade is the best option. And why the hell does an 04 car have a stereo with a frickin cassette, hellllooooo any one at subaru realised its 2006 not 1986!

would suggest posting, and checking out the wonderfully named "ICE Section", towards the bottom of the main page. Lots of luvly people in there who know LOADS

Maybe even try the ICE FAQ for a start too

wouldnt bother trying to plug anything in to my blob-eye stereo, except maybe blamange as I think it might improve the sound from the speakers
