Lucky

I believe you can go up to 35% Tint on side and rear windows

Depends where you are but search the yellow pages there are many places

If you live in Essex there is a good place near Dartford Tunnel

expect to pay about £500 for a MY01 though

Lucky,

Other people on Scoobynet have tried these people and found them to be OK ...

the following is copied from an old thread ...

Secur-fix 07970-193498

Their work shop in Hook (hants/surrey boarder) is a dust free environment, but they can do it in a double garage if you have one, all they need is a dry, windless area and a power point!

They did 4 side windows and rear screen for £200 all in inc VAT.

I used Securfix for my MY01. £200 came miles out of thier way - 20m south of Swindon. 1st class job. .

35% ish is the limit on the front. I've got 35% front and 22% rears and back. Looks cool.

The origianls and the best must surely be pentagon. I have seen their work and they are good. Dont recall them being expensive. They are somewhere inside the M25. Dont have their number but definitely advertise in nearly every car magazine.

What can I say, mist have worked on me.

PS. dont do it. It looks pants and people will think you are a pimp.

1 more thing, to those who have hjad it done, what does it do to your visibility at night when trying to pull out of a junction in a non well lit road? don't you lose confidence that you might be missing something?

Adam,

not worried about missing something - it's hitting things that bother me

Its much easier to see out than to look in - no issues at all for me. I think if you go limo black in the rear it does have a significantly detremental effect at night.

Adam, they have serveral places in London.

I had them tint the windows on my old Fontera, I never had problems seeing things of a night time. They are expensive, but they are the daddies when it comes to tinting.
