It is available from GRP supplies under the brand name Honeywax, part number 1189BA.
it is NOT bees wax, but is highest grade Carnuaba wax, and costs £10.10 + VAT or £11.87 for a 14 Ounce tin (397 grams,read big).

I am in no way connected with this company, but discovered the availability of the product through my work at BAe Sytems, where we use this product.
It is used in the Aerospace industry to polish the inside of moulds for fibreglass components to a MIRROR finish, to allow the component to release from the mould when it sets.
For anybody reading this post,I do not wish to become involved in a 'is this stuff better than some other brand of wax debate etc etc.' been there, done that.
It suits my requirements and price range, it may not suit yours.

Yes it is wipe on,allow to dry, polish off.
It has no cleaning properties at all, and does not remove any paint. It is just wax.
If your car is stained, it will come up very shiny, but still stained.
You would need to use a cutting type agent/polish beforehand to give best results.

I have had Zymol in the past, and the supplier (Kirkwood Marketing) changed to Wax Wizard.
Now I can't get hold of them either,
any ideas anyone?
The cleaning agent I had with Zymol was called HD Cleanse which removed the grime and oxidisation, and I used it about 2 or 3 times a year before applying the carnuba wax. Great stuff (well it was when I could get it)

U got the stuff from me. I am still around and if u need some zymol cleanse give me a bell on 07702 822544.
However I have sold many of my formulae to a national player. This will enable to see my original products on some hardware shelves in around two years time depending on sales. I am not at liberty to divulge the name of the new owner of these products. HOWEVER, I have retained the name Wax Wizard and will be re lauchning my website soon with some products that I have not sold.

Sounds silly, but Sainsburys Homebase used to sell Carnuaba wax, dont know if they still do though? Just thought it might help?
Has anybody been able to get hold of the new Simoniz wax, shampoo and polish etc yet? supposed to be called 'Teflon'? They have been advertising it but cant find it anywhere?

I've seen the adverts for a 'teflon' based wax and cleaner as well and like you, I haven't managed to find it anywhere. When Mark (the Wax Wizard) did my car back in July I believed he used his own teflon wax and the results were very impressive. I would be interested in knowing if anyone has got hold of this yet.

Nice to know Im not the only one! I phoned the number from the advert the other day and they told me that it was at their distributors and should be available at Halfords and other major motor retailers very, very soon. (Asked our local Halfords and they have still not yet heard of it)!!!!!!!!

You can buy merlin wax (new formula and pure white wax) that a piece of p*** to apply and literaly feather dust to an awesome glosss. Still do my acrylic sealant and cleanse and shampoo. Also do a few other things as well. best is to contact ,me with your requirements.

Chris L...the wax I used on your car as well on others throughout the season was indeed a teflon wax.
It starts life out as a pure natural wax with a carnauba content of 54% by volume. There are zero hydrocarbon solvents. Teflon is then added but the process is very difficult indeed.
The wax can be applied to absolutely any surface you care to mention and it will not stain or blemish plastics etc. The whole car can be applied with the wax even in strong sunlight. When the whole has been covered in the wqax simply buff to an awesome shine.
Each pot will provide around 40 application (Mondeo sized car)and will be sold at around £175 per pot. Included will be some pre wax cleanse and applicators and towels.
This wax is for those who really care about their motor investments and only the finest and best ingredients are used. Nothing is compromised at all.
