Question

Hi Guys

Anyone know how to program the P1 alarm so that it auto sets and locks doors after 30s, It does say it can be done in the book but tio get the main dealer to do it, just wondering if anyone knows on here how to do it?

save me having to take a trip to the dealership

The sigma M30 fitted on my MY00 Turbo will reset itself after 30 seconds if you turn off the alarm but don't open any doors. This is just in case you press the button and it unlocks and you don't realise.

There are three different features:

-Auto re-arm, which works as described above. Only locks the doors if you've unlocked them but not got in for a pre-programmed time.
This is normally activated by Subaru before selling the car.

-Auto arm, which sets the alarm after a pre-programmed time from the ignition being turned off and the last door being closed.

-Auto arm with door locking, which is as auto arm but also locks the doors. This mode is a bit dangerous in that if you get out and leave your keys in the car they'll get locked in.

The user's manual says these features need to be programmed by a dealer but the e-mail copy of the programmers manual that is circulating lets you know what codes to enter to switch on/off these features.

could someone please e-mail copy of the programmers manual that is circulating lets you know what codes to enter to switch on/off these features.

Then i can programme the settings for auto arm myself
