£10,500 would be my estimate

12k is well over the odds IMO

just sold my 04 ( 53 plate ) STi type UK with 37k miles and best I could get was £12,500

just based on what I got for mine after a lot of effort , it is obviously going to be considerably lower than that

doesn't really matter what they are up for on autotrader it is what they eventually sell for , nothing is shifting at the moment unless sold cheap , this aplies even more so to bugeyes

Have you been on www.subaru.co.uk under used cars?
They are going for £15,995 - £16,4955...

You can pick up STI's from around £12,500 but dont expect it to be mint -
Average miles
Average price.
Average condition etc.....

"You only get what you pay for"

If your willing to pay the little extra there are lots of mint ones around....

yep mine was 12.5 k , 25months old but as you say condition was average amd mileage a little high ( 37k ) , was a UK car with full history

you only have to look on a lot of the forums to see loads of mint 03/53 plate cars at around 13995 just sitting there for months and with all these about a bugeye has no chance of fetching a decent price
