Does this mod make a difference.
Hi
Noticed this Item number: 8048544108 on Fleebay and wondering if anyone has fitted this, has it made any improvement to airflow.
Cheers

I have an intercooler air splitter on my MY00 but alas not a mirrored one, no idea if it works but the intercooler was only half dirty before I fitted it so you could see where the air was being deflected and not actually hitting half of the intercooler.

Anyways, something like that mod will be a waist of money m8, u wont notice a thing.
A exhaust, air filter, or decat would be a better option

I'm not saying this guy is definately wrong, it's just that if you look at many threads in Scoobynet you'll see strong differences of opinion. Not everything you hear or read is correct.
I'm sure the splitter does help, but whether you would notice the difference on the road is questionable. Small changes in temperature could be more significant, perhaps?
Hell, I can't tell the difference between Optimax and Tesco 99 fuel.
Just my 2p.

the only reason i said that was because i realy dont think it would make a difference.
but for a better option y not fit a intercooler spray, wen i had a top mount on mine i found it helped get rid of heat soak after the car had been idling at lights etc, which did make a noticeable diference.

Another cheap mod is the tilt kit.

The intercooler splitter is a good cheap mod. It helps direct the air flow to the front of the intercooler. There is a guy on here that makes these..
