Greetings ! I'm asking this for my 88 yr. old mom... Recently her gas cap on her 98 impreza (2200 c.c.) was not tightened enough. As a result the check engine light came on... Since then we have re-filled the tank and made sure that the cap was tight.. She needs to renew her e-check emmisions test and they can not preform the test until the light goes off..
