Hello im new(ish)! (pics of my car)
Hello everyone! Ive been a member since november time, but never bothered to post. But tonight ive decided to say hello, and show you all my car. Im from the Midlands so keep an eye out for me on your travels.
I drive a UK Turbo 2000 (with a turbo, not a turbonator).
The spec of it is:
*Full stainless, full de-cat system - ScoobyClinic downpipe, Magnex center, and Vortex Afterburner box.
*K&N cone air filter
*Bailey D/V
*17" BK Racing alloys
Heres some pics for you:
Oppinions welcomed! Ive been slated on other sites because apparently the wheels dont suit the car, but I like them! Let me know what you think.
Cheers

I agree, that style of wheel does not suit a scoob.
Too much of a DTM look, but that's just my opinion.
If you like them, that's all that matters.

Gallery? Where?
Sorry, I didnt think to use the gallery. As it was a 'hello' post I thought they should be included. Any updated pics will pe posted in there.
It does sound amazing. Had the de-cat downpipe fitted today! Loving the BANG & FLAME it makes on lift off.

yeah thats the one. think i was the first to see it. it drove well . the things
that put me off was the unbalanced wheels which made the steering wheel
judder above 60mph ish the slightly scuffed wheels, the unstandard gearknob
and scuff on the lower middle part of the front bumper. how much did you
pay for it in the end. it was up for 8 ish wasnt it?

I payed £8k for it mate, with a £2800 trade in on my old car (saxo). I also got a full Subaru service (including the wheel balancing which i pointed out too), Cambelt & fluid change. So with it being the best UK Turbo id looked at I dont think I got a bad deal.
However:
Wheels are pretty much brand new? Hardly any kerbing at all? The gearknob will be getting changed, coz I dont like it either.
Saying that, when I traded my old car in, the 1st thing he did was have the wheels re-furbished.
Its a lovely car to drive. The only problem ive had was the rear brake calliper coming off leaving me with no brakes. But apart from that I love it!

yeah the car drove well. the cambelt was another thing cause it said it had
it in service book but no stamp and looked like it had been written by a 6
year old with crayon.lol
i bought a 2001 X plate green impreza turbo in the end with 37000 miles on it
for 8 grand but this was mint and everything totally standard.
but looks like you have sorted it out and happy driving to ya.
