Default power steering leak

just gone to my car and discovered power steering fluid leaking out.what is the most common cause of this and is it easy to fix?the car is a my93 wrx import.

try at your own risk m8. but a friend of mine fixed this buy taking the three bolts off at the top of reservoir. and replaced the rubber o ring. it stopped his leak.

i had this on mu old MY95 WRX import apaarently you can get these 2nd hand for around 70 quid but its no worries i just kept topping mine up every 3-6 months with ATM fluid, and neveer had any probs!

As above really. You can change the O ring on the pump. Or you are probably better getting one of the later classic pumps for about £60 and fitting that. Since doing that on mine Ive had no trouble at all.
