Bumper side vents to help air flow, good or bad?

Bumper side vents to help air flow, good or bad?
Hi, thinking of getting the vents below and fitting them in my classic my00. Reason for doing this is that my airfilter only sucks air in through the wing as the resonator box has been removed and all holes going into the engine bay have been blocked. Will this help air flow or make it worse?
Has anyone done this?
